HR & GA Manager (f/m)

The company's headquarters are located in the canton of Glarus. Here, against a picturesque Alpine backdrop, we produce our fresh chocolates and are constantly developing new, innovative ideas in agile teams.
This position is for the new office located in Tokyo Japan, just started with 3 stores launched in 2025 September. We are looking for a motivated and experienced team member to strenghen our HR function to excel our business to deliver our high-quality chocolates to more customers

Your Responsibilities
- You manage talent acquisition, interviewing, and hiring processes
- You address grievances, mediate conflicts, and promote a positive workplace culture
- You ensure adherence to labor laws and develop company policies
- You implement performance management systems and training programs
- You manage payroll, benefits administration, and compensation structures
- You advise management on human capital strategies
- You manage general administration and office operations
What we expect from you
- You have 5–10 years of HR experience in the retail business, with exposure to both mature organizations and early-stage companies, and a hands-on mindset to build HR functions from the ground up
- You bring proven experience as an HR Manager or HR Executive, with strong knowledge of labor law, HR best practices, and HR systems and databases
- You are people-oriented and results-driven, with strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills
- You communicate fluently in Japanese and at business level in English, and collaborate effectively across HQ, local teams, and store staff
- You demonstrate strong leadership and strategic thinking, while remaining detail-oriented and willing to support back-office and administrative tasks
- You excel at building and managing interpersonal relationships, actively resolving conflicts, and working collaboratively across functions such as Retail, Marketing, Finance, and HQ
- You hold a degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, and thrive in agile, fast-growing environments with a proactive, builder mentality.
